The NSF Certified Activated Carbon Fiber (ACF) technology, originally developed in Japan, provides superior chlorine removal efficiency, higher flow rates and longer service life compared to ordinary carbon blocks.
The ACF is enriched with food grade (FDA registered) anti-scaling media that mitigates the effect of hardness salts (limescale).
